Winner! Best R Reference book
Summary Review: An excellent book for all serious R users. Very easy to use, well indexed and organized. It lives up to it's name! We found the book to have very helpful information and advice across a very wide range of R applications, and to be much easier to access than the standard R documentation (which is very very good). Caveat: this review was conducted by a group of new R users- so it does not reflect the deep expertise of experienced users. For a review by an expert R user, see the note below.
Note: After posting our review, we received notice of another, more negative review of this book, by Fritz Leisch in the October 2007 edition of R News (Vol 7 Issue 2). Please read this for a review by a very experienced R user: http://cran.r-project.org/doc/Rnews/Rnews_2007-2.pdf
