Table of Contents
Classification
      a. Object
i. local roads, paths, & access = includes all local roads, paths and access built for transport within local areas, with no high-speed (>65 km/h; 40 miles/h) sections.
ii. local highway = roads built for long-distance transport, mostly high-speed (>65 km/h; 40 miles/h), but often including intersections with full stops.
iii. railroad bed
iv. bridge (>2m) = transportation across water, with water surface underneath.
v. high-speed highway = roads built for high-speed (>65 km/h; 40 miles/h) long distance transport that do not include intersections with full stops.
vi. overpass (>2m) = sealed transportation surface covering non-water features.  These may include many types of features ranging from Constructed to Perennial.
      b. Modifier 1 (structure type)
i. paths, roads & access
1. unpaved = unimproved roads (local earth)
2. paved = improved roads (sealed or filled with rock)
      c. Scale (of building footprint)

i.  local roads, paths, & access

1. wide >2 m

Dominance Rules                                                             Return
1. IF TYPE with greater area is very similar or otherwise unclear:
a. Choose unpaved over paved.
2. IF paralleled by a <2 m irrigation feature, and unclear which has greater width or feature area:
1. Choose transportation over irrigation.
1.  IF unclear whether a field border or other anthropogenic boundary or earthwork is used as a path (tr01) or is just a disturbed feature (significant vegetation growth, etc.):
1. Choose disturbed & debris over transportation.
